Ingredients

- 1 and 1/2 cups cold mashed potato (leftovers or freshly made and cooled – use a little DF spread e.g. Nuttelex)
- 2 cups of canned brown lentils (about a 400g canned brown lentils, rinsed and
- 1Â egg
- 1 cup of home made gluten free or standard breadcrumbs  or 1/2 cup (50g) packaged breadcrumbs
- salt to season
Method
Mix together ingredients, form into patties and fry..
Note
In the picture the lentil and potato patties are served with  “fancy” lettuce leaves  and savoury pear sauce. Â
