Dairy Free Maple Syrup Ice-Cream

You will need an ice cream machine to make this recipe.

  • 1/3 cup canola oil (or other suitable oil e.g. rice bran)
  • 2 cups cold rice milk unsweetened
  • 3/4 cup of pure (not imitation) maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste or extract

Mix ingredients together in a blender or using a mixer

Place in chilled ice cream bucket from the machine, then place in ice cream machine to churn for 30 to 40 minutes. (follow manufacturers instructions).

Pour into a freezer safe container with lid – freeze for 2 to 4 hours (depending on how hard you like your icecream).
