Roasted Cabbage (GF, DF, VG)

Ingredients

  • Suitable oil in a spray bottle * (e.g. rice bran or canola)
  • 1 Green cabbage
  • ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 200 Celsius

Remove the cabbage’s damaged outer leaves. Cut it in half into thick slices leaving the core in, if you remove it the cabbage will fall apart

Rinse the cabbage wedges, then carefully dry them using paper towels.

Place the wedges in a single layer on a tray that has been lined with baking paper .

Generously spray the cabbage with the oil

Season the cabbage with salt and garlic powder

Roast the cabbage until golden brown and fork-tender, 25-30 minutes. Serve immediately.
