Cut the beef into thin strips. Cut onion bulbs into quarters and seperate Cook the onion in the butter over low heat for 5-7 minutes, until the onion is browned and softened. Increase heat to medium and add beef strips and cook until meat is just browned (don't overcook). Stir in the Scotch Whisky and cream. Heat gently to reduce slightly. For Dinner < 600 can serve with 1/2 cup of brown rice and greens can also serve with white rice, basmati rice (moderate salicylate) is low GI/GLWhisky Beef
