🟢 Crispy Tofu

1 Block of firm tofu (pressed to remove moisture and cut into cubes)

1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 cup of rice flour mixed together

2 tablespoons of canola oil (or other suitable for frying)

  1. Coat the tofu with the flour mixture
  2. Heat oil
  3. Once the oil is hot, add the tofu and pan fry until golden brown – about 2-3 minutes. Do not turn or flip tofu until it releases from the pan. 
  4. Using tongs, flip the tofu and continue to cook until all sides are golden brown. Transfer tofu to a paper towel lined plate.

Optional sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving if tolerated (not for food intolerance diet)
