1 Block of firm tofu (pressed to remove moisture and cut into cubes)
1/4 teaspoon of salt and 1/4 cup of rice flour mixed together
2 tablespoons of canola oil (or other suitable for frying)
- Coat the tofu with the flour mixture
- Heat oil
- Once the oil is hot, add the tofu and pan fry until golden brown – about 2-3 minutes. Do not turn or flip tofu until it releases from the pan.
- Using tongs, flip the tofu and continue to cook until all sides are golden brown. Transfer tofu to a paper towel lined plate.
Optional sprinkle with sesame seeds just before serving if tolerated (not for food intolerance diet)
