Ingredients
- 1 leek (use white part only; avoid green top for gentler option)
- 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen, use quickly after cooking)
- 1/4 cup cup cream
- 1 tsp rice bran oil
- Pinch of salt
Method
- Wash leek thoroughly, slice the white part finely.
- Heat oil in a pan, sauté leek gently until soft.
- Add peas and 2–3 tbsp water, cook for 3–4 minutes until bright green.
- Stir in cream season lightly with salt.
- Serve warm as a side dish
