Ingredients

  • 1 leek (use white part only; avoid green top for gentler option)
  • 1 cup green peas (fresh or frozen, use quickly after cooking)
  • 1/4 cup cup cream
  • 1 tsp rice bran oil
  • Pinch of salt

Method

  1. Wash leek thoroughly, slice the white part finely.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, sauté leek gently until soft.
  3. Add peas and 2–3 tbsp water, cook for 3–4 minutes until bright green.
  4. Stir in cream season lightly with salt.
  5. Serve warm as a side dish
