Sausage Rolls

  • Pampas Puff Pastry
  • Lamb rissole mixture – optional add one grated CARROT* (if suitable)
  • Egg.

Method

Preheat oven 200 °C

  1. Cut pastry sheets in half. Roll a mince portion until 25cm long. Place down the centre of pastry. Beat remaining egg and brush edges.

  2. Roll up to enclose filling, and cut into pieces 6 -10 depending on how long you like your sausage rolls.. Place on trays, seam side down. Brush with egg and bake for 20 mins, reduce heat to 180°C, and cook for 10 minutes until golden.
