Maple Roasted Beetroot

Maple Roasted Beetroot

Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 3 medium sized fresh beetroots scrubbed (approx 125g/4.4oz each)
  • 1 TBS Oil (rice bran or canola)
  • 1 TBS Maple Syrup
  • 2 teaspoon of Malt Vinegar (or for Gluten Free 1/4 tsp of citric acid)
  • Salt for season

Instructions

Preheat oven to 190C/375F.

Mix oil maple syrup and malt vinegar (or for GF citric acid) together set aside

Slice beetroot into thin rounds or small chunks.

Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper and drizzle maple oil mix. Sprinkle with salt. Roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.
