Maple Syrup

Maple syrup (only if pure) is classified as a low chemical food by the RPAH Allergy Unit.  This sweetener is nice as a topping on pancakes, icecream and in other desserts.  It can also be used in salad dressings and as a glaze in cooking.

Many nutrients are naturally found in pure maple syrup, including zinc, potassium, manganese, thiamine, calcium, iron, magnesium, and riboflavin.
