Garlicky Green Beans

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 600g Green Beans, trimmed
  • 25g butter or suitable df spread 
  • 2 garlic clove , crushed

Method

Step 1 Cook beans in a saucepan of boiling, salted water for 6 minutes or until just tender. Drain.

Step 2: heat pan melt butter or DF spread and add garlic – toss through green beans.

Fodmaps variation

Replace butter and garlic with home made garlic infused rice bran oil, or if higher salicylates are tolerated, use a commercially infused garlic oil (they usually use olive oil)
