Sauteed Choko and Potato

1 choko (chayote) about 300g- peeled and cut into slices 

3 small  potatoes  (300-400g) – peeled and cut into thin slices. 

2 clove of garlic – minced and 4 tbsp suitable oil  (note 1)

to taste table salt 


  1. Heat Oil in large pan
  2. Add other ingredients 
  3. Cook until choko and potato are golden 
  4. Season with salt just befor serving. 


Note 1 Leave garlic out – or use suitable home made garlic infused oil for Lofo
