Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) causes symptoms like diarrhoea, tummy pain and wind, and also sometimes constipation. The FODMAPS diet is fast becoming the diet of choice for treating IBS. A SIBO diet is another popular choice. (see below for resources)
IBS symptoms can overlap with food Allergy Symptoms, Coeliac Disease and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). It is important to get a proper diagnosis from your doctor. Food Chemicals can be another cause of IBS and should be investigated if IBS symptoms persist, and present with a lot of other symptoms.
