Creamy Carrot and Savoy Cabbage

Dairy, moderate salicylates

Serves 4

  • 2 cups  Savoy cabbage shredded
  • 3/4 Cup Carrot grated (S)
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 1/4 tsp pinch NUTMEG  optional (S)
  1. Bring a pan of water to the boil and add the cabbage and carrots. Boil for 6 mins until just tender, then drain. Return to the hot pan and add the butter and cream.
  2. Add nutmeg if using
