Maple Cashew Spread

Makes around 1 1/2 cups

Ingredients

  • 2 cups of raw cashews
  • 3 tablespoons of pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoons of rice bran or canola oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 160°C.. Place the cashews on a large baking tray and cook for 8–10 minutes or until golden. 
  2. While still warm blend with other ingredients. You can add a little more oil, if needed
  3. Store in a sterilised jar
