- 1 large can (400g) of chickpeas rinsed and drained
- 1/2 cup of cashews
- 1 large clove of garlic or 2 small
- 3 Tablespoon of canola oil or rice bran oil
- 1/4 cup of water
- Small pinch of salt
- Optional 1 Tablespoon of Pure Maple Syrup (gives a nice complimentary sweetness)
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. If consistency is too thick, add a litte extra water.
